Fluidic Thrust Vectoring PhD Scholarship

Scholarship Description
Applications are invited from prospective research students for a PhD scholarship to investigate the application of Fluidic Thrust Vectoring (FTV). Applicants should possess a good Honours degree in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering or Physics. Experience of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is preferred as is the ability to design and perform experiments. This scholarship is offered once only to one person. Open for applications from December 19, 2008 until March 31, 2009.

Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is AUD28777 (per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 years, reviewed annually.

Research Information
This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: Aerospace engineering or Mechanical and industrial engineering. It is required that your study starts no earlier than March 2, 2009 and no later than March 1, 2012.
