QUT PhD Scholarships for Thai Nationals
QUT is offering six PhD scholarships to Thai nationals to undertake research training at our campuses in Brisbane, Australia. Candidates must be sponsored by the Thai Office of Civil Service Commission (OCSC) for their living costs and other expenses while studying at QUT. Each QUT scholarship will cover course tuition fees for a maximum of three years. Successful candidates must take up their awards to commence in 2009. Application Procedures
Candidates may apply by completing an Application for Admission to QUT as an International Student in a Research Program (FR form), which can be downloaded from QUT’s webpage at http://www.studentservices.qut.edu.au/pdfs/forms/fr_frm.pdf
All supporting documents requested in the FR Form are to be included with the application. In addition, candidates must provide a letter from OCSC confirming that the applicant is supported for an OCSC-QUT PhD Research Scholarship.
The completed application is to be forwarded to the address printed on the FR Form. Candidates should clearly state in their FR Form that they are applying for an OCSC-QUT PhD Scholarship.
QUT will assess all applications and issue a Letter of Offer to each selected applicant confirming a place to undertake the PhD research program at QUT.
A QUT Letter of Offer may be made conditional on the applicant meeting QUT’s minimum English Language proficiency level and/or other entry requirements. All conditions specified in the Letter of Offer must be met by the applicant before QUT can confirm acceptance of the student.
All students accepting their offer must complete and sign a Letter of Acceptance form which is attached to their Letter of Offer.
