Competing with Business Analytics PhD Scholarship

Scholarship Description
An Australian Research Council Discovery-funded Scholarship is available in a new project at the Uni of Melb. Business analytics involves the collection, storage & interpretation of data in order to make better decisions & to optimise business processes. Though the analysis of data has been used in business to aid decision-making, many organisations have had difficulty achieving anticipated benefits from large-scale, enterprise-wide, business-analytic systems. This project will develop & test the Business Analytics Success Model that explains & predicts how organisations can gain competitive advantage from their use of business analytics. Supervised by Prof Shanks & A/Prof Seddon, you will be collaborating with other members of the Business Analytics Laboratory. Please contact Prof Shanks with your CV, incl average marks scored each semester/year, R&D experience & any special projects carried out & a note on why you think you are a strong candidate for this project.
